An Extension and Outreach Activity on RBI REELATHON 2026 – Financial Fraud Awareness was conducted at Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics on 18 August 2026 to create awareness among students about the Reelathon and encourage their active participation. The session was conducted by the Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL), Palakkad, under the guidance of RBI Trivandrum. Ms. Bindhu M., CFL Coordinator, briefly explained the objectives of the Reelathon and highlighted the importance of creating awareness about financial fraud, cyber safety, and safe digital transactions, particularly among the younger generation. As part of the session, a 7-minute reel on cyber fraud, acted by an RBI Trivandrum employee, was screened for the students. The screening helped students understand common financial fraud risks and the need for caution while using digital financial services. The session encouraged students to register for RBI REELATHON 2026 and actively participate in the initiative by creating awareness about financial fraud and promoting safe digital financial practices.
