Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics and Ahalia School of Management together celebrated the 77^th Independence Day of our country on 15^th August 2023. The flag hoisting ceremony was done by the Principal and Director of Ahalia School of Management, Dr B. Vijay Chandran Pillai. After the flag hoisting he delivered a speech on the significance of this year’s Independence Day for India. Then the Vice President of Ahalia Academics Mr E.P.B. Rajithan spoke about the struggle, sacrifices made by our leaders to achieve Independence and economic benefits to our country and the population at large. Later the Principal of ASCM, Dr S. N. Jagadeesh spoke about the relevance of independence to our country, the liberty and pride people enjoy and to achieve in future were emphasised. After  that Dr.  K. Manivannan, Associate professor of ASM spoke about the impact and significance of this year’s Independence Day to the country. The ceremony was attended by the faculties and staffs of the institutions.
