The Add-on Course on AI in Finance, offered during the Fourth Semester of the BBA programme by Ahalia School of Commerce and was successfully completed and proved highly beneficial for students’ academic and professional development. The course conducted from 20-01-2026 to 12-06-2026 for 100 hours. The course aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the applications of Artificial Intelligence in the financial sector, enabling them to develop the knowledge and skills required to adapt to the rapidly evolving financial industry.

The course focused on key areas such as the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, AI applications in banking and finance, financial data analysis, predictive analytics, automation in financial services, fraud detection, digital financial technologies, and ethical considerations in AI. Conducted through interactive sessions, discussions, case studies, practical exercises, and presentations, the programme enhanced students’ analytical abilities, technological awareness, and problem-solving skills.

The course was handled by Mr. Sudheesh from LBS, whose expertise and practical approach enriched the learning experience of the participants. A total of 34 students from Fourth Semester BBA successfully participated in and benefited from the programme.

The course concluded with a final examination conducted at the institution, where all participating students appeared for the assessment. Overall, the Add-on Course on AI in Finance significantly enhanced students’ understanding of emerging financial technologies, strengthened their technical and professional competencies, and improved their employability, making it a valuable supplement to the Fourth Semester BBA curriculum.
