An Anti-Ragging Awareness Session was organized in association with IQAC on 21 July 2026 at 3:00 PM in the ASCM Seminar Hall. The session was led by Adv. Renjith Krishna, Criminal Lawyer, Palakkad Bar Association.

The resource person highlighted the history of ragging, explained the UGC Anti-Ragging Regulations, 2009, and discussed the various types of ragging, including physical and non-physical forms. He also elaborated on the legal punishments for ragging and the long-term consequences, such as academic disciplinary action, criminal liability, and adverse effects on students’ future education and career prospects.

The session concluded with an appeal to students to uphold mutual respect, maintain discipline, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and ragging-free campus
