Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics, in association with Alathur Government Girls Higher Secondary School, participated in the “Madhuram Malayalam” initiative aimed at promoting the habit of reading Malayalam newspapers and encouraging students to develop greater interest in the Malayalam language and literature. The programme was held at Alathur Government Girls Higher Secondary School, and the inauguration was conducted by Dr. S. P. Rajesh, Principal, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics, by handing over a copy of the Mathrubhumi newspaper to Hiba Fathima, student representative. The programme was organized with the support and cooperation of Ahalia Group of Educational Institutions. The School Principal A. P. Praveen, Staff Secretary K. S. Aneesh, and teachers including P. Vinod Kumar, M. Naseema, A. Maya, P. S. Prineethi, M. Krishnakutty and P. B. Krishnan were present on the occasion. The initiative is intended to strengthen students’ reading habits, improve their awareness of current affairs, and promote Malayalam language and literary culture among the younger generation.
