Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics conducted the formal inauguration of the BBA 2023-26 batch on Monday, 21st August 2023 in ASCM auditorium at 10.00am The chief guest of the session was Mr. K.P. Sasidhar, Regional Labor Commissioner (Central)Retd. The session commenced by a prayer by Ms. Revathy J, second year BBA student. After that the welcome address was given by Dr. S.N. Jagadeesh, Principal, ASCM. The introduction to the chief guest was done by Ms. Pooja K . of third year BBA. This was followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. The presidential address was by Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director ASM. He spoke about the relevance of BBA in the present context and its future benefits. Then the inaugural address was by the chief guest Mr. K.P. Sasidhar. In his speech he enlightened the minds of the young hearts by emphasizing the relevance of choosing such a professional degree in such a relevant institution. Later the felicitation was delivered by Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Executive Director, Ahalia Group, who thanked the parents and the students for choosing our institution. After that the semester topper in the second semester of 2021-2024 batch was honoured by our Executive Director, Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor with an Academic Excellence Award. Also the teams which secured first prize in Gandhi Jayanthi Drawing Competition 2022 and Independence Day Quiz Competition 2022 were honored in the function. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Athulya Baby, Asst. Professor, ASCM. The formal function ended by 11.00 am. Later the chief guest had a session on the topic “Attitude and Motivation” from 11.25 am. He stressed on how to achieve attitude and motivation throughout the life in a simple way. The session was attended by the students, parents and the staff of ASCM. The program was compered by Ms. Almas Fathima 3rd year BBA student. The session came to an end by 12.15 pm.
