The CMA Foundation Course for the 2026–2030 batch of B.Com and BBA students was inaugurated at the Ahalia School of Commerce & Mathematics (ASCM) in association with the ICMAI Palakkad Chapter on 16 September 2026 at the ASCM Seminar Hall.

The programme commenced with the Presidential Address by Dr. Rajesh S. P., Principal, ASCM. CMA Cily Jose, Secretary, ICMAI Palakkad Chapter, delivered the Inaugural Address and highlighted the opportunities and professional prospects associated with the CMA qualification.

Dr. Mahalakshmi N., Member, ICMAI, felicitated the gathering and emphasized the importance of professional qualifications in enhancing students’ career opportunities in commerce and finance.

The programme also featured an interaction by Vismaya, CMA student, who introduced the students to the CMA Foundation Course and its structure. She also handled introductory classes on relevant chapters, providing students with an understanding of the course content and learning areas.

The CMA Foundation Course is being offered to the 2026–2030 B.Com and BBA batches with the objective of enabling students to pursue professional-level learning in Cost and Management Accountancy alongside their undergraduate studies.
