ADD-ON COURSE ON HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT
The Add-on Course on Health Care Management, offered during Semester One of the BBA programme by Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics was successfully conducted from 29th July 2024 to 31st January 2025. The programme was designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of healthcare management and equip them with the knowledge and skills required to understand the functioning of the healthcare industry.
The course covered essential topics such as healthcare systems, hospital administration, healthcare services, patient care management, and communication in healthcare settings, medical ethics, teamwork, and professional skills. Delivered through interactive sessions, case studies, discussions, practical activities, and presentations, the programme enabled students to develop managerial competencies and gain insights into the dynamic healthcare sector.
The course was conducted by Ms. Ashna Siddique from Ahalia School of Management whose expert guidance and engaging teaching methods contributed significantly to the successful completion of the programme. A total of 18 students from Semester One BBA participated in and benefited from the course.
The programme concluded with a final examination conducted at the institution, where all participating students appeared for the assessment. Overall, the Add-on Course on Health Care Management enhanced students’ knowledge of healthcare administration, strengthened their professional and communication skills, and improved their employability, making it a valuable supplement to the Semester One BBA curriculum.
