Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics organized a session on the topic “Role of Students in Societal Development ” on 18^th October 2023 as part of World Students Day. The day is a tribute to the contribution made by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam and celebrates his legacy as a scientist, educator and visionary leader.

The main objective of the session was to spread awareness among the students about the significance of education in a contemporary society and to aware them about their various responsibilities toward the society.  The resource person of the program was Mr. Sivanunni P S, Assistant Professor of Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics.  The session started by 10.00 am. The resource person mentioned about the importance of education and to support the efforts that make education available to individuals from all the sections of the society. He also mentioned various responsibilities of students towards the society. The session was very interactive and engaging. Teaching staff, non-teaching staff along with the students had participated in the program. The session ended by 11:00 am.
