On Monday, 22nd July 2024, 1st year BBA students of Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics undertook an Industrial Visit to AHALIA AYURVEDA MEDICINE MANUFACTURING UNIT. The aim of the visit was to explain to the students about the manufacturing process of medicines and allied products. The visit commenced by 10.00 am. At the unit, the students were given a guided tour of the manufacturing unit by Mr Renjith, Administrative Officer. He explained about medicine manufacturing process, the standards to be followed in the process and the methods of packing the medicines along with the different types of medicines that are manufactured there. Also they visited the Quality Control lab & Specimen lab. During the visit students were able to understand various kinds of medicinal products which are naturally made from plants, roots and tree barks by the Ahalia Ayurveda Medicine Manufacturing Unit. Different kinds of products like shampoos, balms, ayurvedic medicines, tablets etc. are manufactured there. The industrial visit was a great educational experience to the first year BBA students providing them with the practical knowledge of the ayurvedic medicines which will be beneficial for a healthy life. The students were accompanied by Ms Jini K.S. Asst. Professor. The visit ended by 12.00 pm.
