MENTAL HEALTH DAY AWARENESS SESSION
The Women Cell, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Ahalia
School of Commerce and Mathematics (ASCM), organised a World Mental Health Day
Awareness Session titled “Mental Health Matters – Pause, Connect, Care” on 9 October 2026
from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the ASCM Seminar Hall.
The session was led by Ms. Vini Bose, Counselling Psychologist, Ahalia Campus. She
highlighted the importance of mental health, emotional well-being, self-care, and maintaining
healthy relationships. She also emphasised the need to recognise emotional difficulties, seek
professional support when necessary, and extend care and support to others.
The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of mental
health and encourage them to prioritise their psychological well-being. The session was
informative and meaningful, promoting a positive attitude towards mental health and the
importance of pausing, connecting, and caring for oneself and others.
