Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics conducted an industrial visit for the third and second year BBA students on Friday, 10.10.2025 at Simplex Windows and Door Manufacturing Company, Kanjikode, Palakkad, as a part of their curriculum enrichment program. The visit commenced at 10.00 am. The students were guided by sales manager of simplex company to the manufacturing units. They were taken to the manufacturing platform and the process of measuring, cutting, and assembling various materials to create the finished product were explained to them.

The materials used in windows and doors manufacturing can vary depending on the specific design and intended use of the product.Various types of materials are often combined with various glazing options, such as insulated glass, to improve energy efficiency and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the product. All these were explained to the students.

In addition to the manufacturing process of windows and doors, companies also provide installation services to ensure that the products are properly installed and sealed to prevent air and water leaks. This involves careful measurement and precise installation techniques to ensure that the windows and doors fit securely and function properly. These were also explained to the students.
The visit ended by 12.00 pm and Students got lot of valuable information regarding the window and door manufacturing process till final distribution. The students were accompanied by the faculties.
