The Ahalia Group of Institutions celebrated Teachers’ Day with the staff and management of Sree Narayana Public School, Elapully, on Wednesday, 10th September 2025, by felicitating the senior-most teachers who have rendered more than 25 years of dedicated service.

The programme began at 4:00 pm with a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. Krishna Prasad S., Principal of the school. The occasion was graced by eminent personalities from the Sree Narayana Educational Society including Mr. C Balan, President, Mr. Bhavadas, Vice President, and Dr. Sudhodhanan, Academic Director, who delivered the keynote address highlighting the pivotal role of teachers in the society.

Ms. Abisha K A., Academics Outreach, presented an overview of the facilities and initiatives of Ahalia Group.

The highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, where the following five senior-most teachers of the school were honoured with mementos in recognition of their lifelong commitment to education and their invaluable contribution to nurturing young minds:

Mrs. Jyothilakshmi T. K., PGT- Economics

Mrs. Jisha S., PGT Malayalam & Head – Senior Secondary Section

Mrs. Rejani S., Head – Primary Section

Mrs. Suma S., Head – Kindergarten

Mrs. Kavya G., Head – Secondary Section

Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology, addressed the gathering. Also Dr. S. N. Jagadeesh, Principal, Ahalia School of Commerce & Mathematics, addressed the audience, emphasizing the shared vision of quality education.  

Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Lesitha, Vice Principal, SNPS.

Mr. Surya Murugan, final year BBA was the student representative for the programme.

The programme concluded on a note of pride and gratitude, with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to work together in creating meaningful opportunities for students and teachers alike and it ended at 5:00 pm with a group photo session.
