On Wednesday, 5th June 2024, Ahalia Group of Institutions celebrated World Environment Day at Palakkad Fort. Students and staff of Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics and Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology jointly celebrated the auspicious day. The programme started at 7:00 am with a Green Walk. There was participation from volunteers of NGOs, students and staff of Ahalia Group of Institutions. After that an essay competition was held. Several students participated in the competition.  An elocution competition was also conducted afterward and the first and second prize were bagged by Ms Sweatha P. of Vijayamatha Convent HSS, Chittur and Ms. Athira Babu of Cherupushpam Girls HSS, Vadakkanchery respectively. All the participants took the environment conservation oath. Later the invited guests, organizers and students planted saplings inside the fort. The staff coordinator from ASCM was Mr. Sivanunni P.S., Asst.Professor.
