A Cleanliness drive for plastic free earth in connection with World Environmental Day celebration was organized by Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics in collaboration with Kerala Forest Department, Kollengode division on 6^th June 2023. The visit commenced by 9.30 am. The Drive was carried out in the Murugamalai forest area of the Koduvayur – Nenmara road. All the BBA students and faculties participated in the drive.

The welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Athulya Baby Asst. Prof, ASCM. The drive was inaugurated by Mr. P.S.Manian, Deputy Range officer, Kollengode Division. The students joined the staff of the forest range of that area for the cleanliness drive. Meanwhile the students collected the thrown away plastics such as empty plastic bottles, polythene bags etc., thrown by the visitors, trespassers, local people and the same was collected in the bins provided by the forest department.  In order to carry out the drive successfully, Mr P.S. Manian (Deputy Range officer) Mr K.Gopi, Mr A. Ummer , Mr. KajaHussain.M, (Beat Forest Officers ) Mr Mahesh ,Mr Ramesh and Mr Devadas , (Forest officers,Kollengode) they  provided their cordial support and necessary assistance.

Later the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr K.Gopi Beat Forest Officer .The students were accompanied by faculty members Ms.Jini K.S Asst .Prof ASCM and Mrs Svetha .G Asst. Prof, ASCM. The Students returned to the campus by 2.00 pm.
