Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics conducted a three day Work Readiness Programme from 25th October 2023 to 27th October 2023 in association with ASAP for the 2nd and 3rd year students of BBA. The programme commenced on Day 1 from 10.00 AM. The inauguration of the programme was by Dr. S.N. Jagadeesh, Principal, ASCM. After that session was started by the resource person Mr. Akhilesh A, soft skill trainer, ASAP Kerala. In the morning session concepts of goal setting and SWOT analysis were explained to the students followed by participant to set their goals and presenting the same. In the afternoon session each student was asked to analyze their SWOT analysis. This was followed by explaining the concepts of writing a covering letter for an Interview. The first day of the session ended by 4.00 pm.

On the 2nd day of the workshop the forenoon session started at 10.00 am. The concepts relating to, how to send a professional e-mail were explained. Also the questions one faces in an interview were explained.The afternoon session was a mock interview session with students being panel members and also interview participants. The session of the day ended by 4.00 pm.

On day 3 of the Work Readiness Programme the session commenced by 10.00 am. How to search for a job in which area was explained to the students. Also the opportunities they have in their relevant areas were explained to the students.This was followed by explaining the concepts of group discussion. In the afternoon session live topics of group discussion were arranged for the students.
