ONE-DAY INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF 2023-2025 BATCH TO KODAIKANAL

On Wednesday, 15th October 2025, the fifth semester students of Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics went on a one-day industrial visit to Kodaikanal. The trip aimed to provide practical exposure to students while also offering an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the hill station.

The journey began early in the morning at 4:00 a.m. from Palakkad. Upon reaching Kodaikanal, the first stop was at the Silver Cascade Waterfalls, where students enjoyed the scenic surroundings and captured beautiful moments. Following this, the group visited the Swastya Herbal Products Manufacturing Unit, where students were introduced to the manufacturing processes of herbal and Ayurvedic products. They learned about extraction, packaging, quality control, and marketing strategies, gaining valuable industrial knowledge.

After the visit, students explored some of Kodaikanal’s famous spots, including the Guna Caves and the Pine Forest, both known for their natural charm and unique landscapes. These visits provided a refreshing break and a chance to connect with nature.

The group began their return journey in the evening and reached Palakkad by 10.00 p.m. The trip was both educational and enjoyable, offering students a balanced experience of learning and leisure. It was a well-organized visit that enriched the students’ academic understanding while also creating lasting memories.
