INAUGURATION OF 2025-29 BATCH
Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics organised the Inauguration Ceremony of 2025-29 Batch on 1st July 2025 at the ASCM Seminar Hall. The programme commenced at 10:00 am with a warm welcome by the student anchors, Ms. Lakshmi Panicker (Final Year BBA) and Ms. Anushiya M (Second Year BBA), who skilfully guided the audience through the day’s proceedings.
The event began with the live telecast of the state-level inauguration led by the Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, Dr. R. Bindu. This was followed by our prayer invoking divine blessings, followed by ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, marking the formal beginning of the programme.
A warm welcome address was delivered by Ms. Athulya Baby, Assistant Professor, who set the tone of the event with her heartfelt message. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. S. N. Jagadeesh, Principal, who shared an inspiring vision of the courses the institution provide and its benefits for their career growth. Later, The Chief Guest, Dr. Preethi Marimuthu, R&D Director of Marisym Biologicals Pvt. Ltd. was introduced with a detailed and respectful profile, highlighting her achievements in biotechnology and entrepreneurship. Her inaugural address was both motivational and informative, leaving a lasting impact on the audience by quoting real life examples as a benchmark for the students. Then the felicitations was by Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Executive Director, Academics, Ahalia Health, Heritage and Knowledge Village who inspired the students to achieve their life mission through actual involvement in real life situations. He also emphasized the students to effectively participate in all the events organised by Ahalia group. Prof. (Dr.) B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director, Ahalia School of Management shared the benefits of all the courses offered by the College. Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology encouraged the students to use the facilities provided by the College to the maximum extent to achieve their goals.
A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor as a token of appreciation. The formal session ended with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Sheeba Kumar S, Assistant Professor, who extended gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, students, and staff for their presence and contributions. After a tea break, the programme resumed with a session on College Rules and Regulations by Ms. Athulya Baby, Asst. Prof. to familiarize the students with the code of conduct and academic guidelines. The day concluded with a campus visit offering students and parents a tour of the campus facilities and environment. The programme ended by 1:00pm.
