As part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations, the Ahalia Group of Institutions visited Assisi English Medium Higher Secondary School on 11th September 2025 to honour teachers for their dedicated years of service in the field of education.

The programme began at 11:00 am with a warm welcome address delivered by Sr. Jeena, Principal of the school, who set the tone for the day by highlighting the significance of teachers in shaping young minds.

On behalf of Ahalia group, Dr. S. N. Jagadeesh, Principal, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics, addressed the gathering of teachers and students, emphasizing the transformative role of education in society. Following this, Ms. Abisha K. A., Academic Outreach  outlined the facilities and initiatives offered at the Ahalia Health, Heritage and Knowledge Village, providing insights into the diverse opportunities available for the students.

The most special moment of the programme was the felicitation of three senior teachers— Mrs. Ambikadevi B., Mrs. Maya S., and Mrs. Ajantha N.—who were honoured for their long years of dedicated service at the school. Their commitment, patience, and contribution towards student development were deeply appreciated.

A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed by Assisi student representative expressing gratitude to Ahalia for joining hands in celebrating the invaluable contributions of teachers.  BBA students, Soorya murugan, Nandhana M, Anuja Arjunan were student representatives.

 The programme came to a close at 12:00 pm, leaving behind a spirit of pride, gratitude, and possibilities for meaningful partnership.
