CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2024

Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics in association with Ahalia School of Management celebrated Christmas in the seminar hall on Friday 20th December 2024, from 10 am onwards. The event aimed to bring together students, faculty, and staff to celebrate the holiday season, spread goodwill, and showcase the diverse traditions associated with Christmas.

The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Manasa of First Sem MBA. Prof. Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Director & Principal, ASM inaugurated the program. He explained the spiritual meaning of Christmas to the students and pointed out the relevance of the teachings of Jesus Christ, in which Love, Joy, Forgiveness and Peace are core values to be in practiced for world peace and harmony. Keynote address was delivered by Mr E P B Rejithan, Vice President, Ahalia Academics. He highlighted the importance of Christmas. He also said that Christmas is not just about colours, baubles, Santa Claus, but rather it is the season of love, gifting joy and peace. Then the felicitation was done by Dr S N Jagadeesh, Principal, ASCM. He gave the Christmas message of Humanity that ‘All are one’ and how it improves the economy and job opportunities for a country. Ms Jyothis Rachel Mathews, Assistant Professor, ASM and Ms Sheeba Kumar S, Assistant Professor, ASCM felicitated in the occasion. Certificates for the students who secured the first and second prize for Christmas card making competition of BBA students were given by Mr. E P B Rejithan, Vice President, Ahalia Academics. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Anirudh of First Sem MBA. After the formal inauguration, the cultural programs of the students were held in the college premises. To add more fun to the celebration, students organised games and activities. It was a joyous occasion filled with enthusiasm, cultural exchanges, and festive spirit. The program ended by 1.30 pm
