The placement and training cell of Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics conducted an interview guidance programme “Mock Interview Day” on Tuesday 16th April 2024 from 10.00 am onwards. The event was to provide an extensive simulation of an actual job interview. The objective of the programme was to help the students to get a better understanding of the particulars and procedures of an interview. BBA students of the 2021-24 batch attended the programme. The interviewer experts were Mr. Srikumar G, HR Manager (Academics) Ahalia Group and Dr. S.N. Jagadeesh, Principal, ASCM. Progressively all the participants were given a time slot for their interview and accordingly the mock interview took place. After every interview the participants were given feedback on their resume and their interviewing skills including the various personality and communication skill concepts to be observed and followed while attending any type of interviews. After the mock interviews for each candidate the programme ended by 1:30 pm. The staff co-ordinator of the programme was Mrs. Sheeba Kumar S, Assistant Professor, ASCM. This event provided an opportunity to job seekers a practice for an interview with in-depth feedback on their interviewing skills.
