A WORKSHOP FOR HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS ON “PRACTICAL TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE MONEY MANAGEMENT”

In collaboration with the Kerala Government’s Department of Women and Child Development, on Thursday,17/10/2024, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics organized a workshop for higher secondary school students on “Practical Tips for Effective Money Management”. The workshop, held for students of PMG Higher Secondary School from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and in Mankara Government Higher Secondary School from 1:30 P.M to 3:00 P.M., focusing on practical methods to reduce wasteful spending and to cultivate good habits for saving money. It emphasized that saving money is equivalent to accumulating wealth, and it was illustrated through real-life examples.

The workshop was led by Ms. Bindu Valoor, Manager Academic Outreach of the Ahalia Group, and Assistant Prof. Ms. Sheeba Kumar S. from the Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics. The organizing efforts were spearheaded by Ms. Usha V.S., Principal of PMG Higher Secondary School, and Ms. Girija, Principal of Mankara Government Higher Secondary School.   The officials from Women and Child Development Department, including Ms. Rajitha and Ms. Satyabhama, along with Mr. Sreeroop B., Marketing Executive, Ahalia Group and students Mr. Adarsh K., Ms. Srinaya M., Mr. Naveen Raj R., Ms. Deepika S., from fifth Semester BBA and Ms. Varada, Ms. Nandana M. from first Semester BBA coordinated the workshop.
