On Wednesday 08/01/2025, students of First Year and Third Year BBA attended a session on “Startup and the role of Incubation centers” at IIT Kanjikode. The session began at 10:00 a.m. The resource person for the session was Mr. Midhu Unnithan, Chief Operating Officer at TECHIN, IIT Palakkad. The session on startups and incubation aimed to provide insights into the various stages of a startup’s journey, from ideation to scaling, and the role incubation centers play in fostering entrepreneurship. The session highlighted several startups that began in incubation centers and went on to achieve significant success. These stories helped illustrate the practical benefits of mentorship, resources, and networking available within an incubation program. The session provided valuable insights into the startup ecosystem and actionable strategies for overcoming common startup challenges. The students returned back to the college by 12:15 p.m. Ms. Athulya Baby and Ms. Sheeba Kumar S, Assistant Professors, ASCM accompanied the students.
