A SESSION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND STRESS MANAGEMENT AT PMG SCHOOL

A session of Mental Health and Stress Management among students was conducted at PMG School, Palakkad for the students of Classes 11 on Thursday, 30-Oct-25 under the initiative of Ahalia Group of Institutions.

The programme began with a warm introduction by a teacher from PMG School, who welcomed the resource team from Ahalia and briefed the students about the importance of the session.

Following this, Ms. Abisha, Executive, Academics outreach, Ahalia Group of Institutions, introduced the Ahalia campus and its various educational institutions. She highlighted Ahalia’s commitment to holistic education and community engagement through outreach activities.

The first session, beginning at 2:30 p.m., was led by Ms. Medha, Counselling Psychologist who spoke on the topic “Emotional, Psychological, and Social Well-being.” She discussed the importance of understanding one’s emotions, building resilience, and maintaining a positive mental attitude in daily life.

The next session was handled by Ms. Shilpa, Counselling Psychologist who focused on “Stress Management.” She guided the students on identifying stress triggers and shared effective techniques to cope with academic and personal stress. The session included interactive discussions and practical tips for maintaining mental balance.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by a student representative, expressing gratitude to the school management, teachers, and students for their enthusiastic participation.

The session came to an end at 4:00 p.m., leaving the students more aware and informed about the importance of mental health and well-being.
