On Thursday 12/09/2024, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics and Ahalia School of Management jointly organized Onam celebration. The program began by 9.30 am. The inauguration of the function began with a welcome address by the student Pooja K of Ist year MBA, followed by Presidential address by Prof. (Dr.) B. Vijayachandran Pillai. He spoke about the history of Onam celebrations that were conducted in the past days. Following that our Chief Guest Dr. Suresh P. R. Principal, ASET, officially inaugurated the function. Then the Felicitation was done by Dr. S. N Jagadeesh, Principal, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics. He spoke about the traditional significance of Onam and the memories of past Onam days. Then Mrs Jyothis Rachel Mathews, Asst. professor of ASM also delivered a felicitation speech. This was followed by a vote of thanks by Deepika S. III year BBA student.

Then we moved on to the cultural events which were done by the students. Later the singarimeelam was conducted. After the lunch fun games were conducted like lemon spoon, uri adi, Tug of War, Thiruvatharakali which was supported by the orchestration rhythm of singarimeelam. Function concluded by 3:45 pm. Overall all the students and staff cherished a lot of happy and ever memorable moments from the Onam celebration.
