Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics together with Ahalia School Management celebrated the 78^th Independence Day of our country on 15^th August 2024. The flag hoisting ceremony was done by the Principal and Director, Prof. (Dr) B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Ahalia School of Management. After the flag hoisting, he spoke about the significance of Independence Day and the progress of our country since Independence from 1947. Then Dr. S. N. Jagadeesh, Principal, Ahalia School Commerce and Mathematics spoke about Viksit Bharat @ 2047, the theme of this year’s Independence Day. The themes vision includes, economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance. He emphasized that everyone should unite together to achieve this theme for the benefit and prosperity of our nation. The ceremony was attended by the faculties and staff of the institutions.
