On Wednesday 14th February 2024, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics organized an interactive session on “Idea Generation Concepts” in association with Young Innovators Programme (YIP). The resource person for the session was Mr. Athulkrishna R, YIP Intern. The session started at 10:00 A.M. Dr. S N. Jagadeesh, Principal, ASCM gave a brief introduction and relevance about the topic. All the BBA students participated in the session. The resource person explained about the concept of Young Innovators Programme which is a specially designed programme under Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council. The government of Kerala has started YIP 6.0 (2024) registration to identify the youth with excellent minds in their state and to provide scholarships to those youth. Through YIP 6.0 Registration, all the youth of the state from 12 years to 35 years studying above 8th class are eligible to register. He explained about the importance of YIP, the opportunities provided to the students and also the benefits for an individual as well as an institution while registering and getting selected to various stages in YIP program. Mr Athulkrishna.R guided the students step by step for registering in the YIP 6.0 programme and also extended his support in clarifying their doubts. The staff coordinator of the session was Ms. Sheeba Kumar S., Assistant Professor, ASCM. The session ended by 12:00 P.M.
